Savings at ACME - General Mills link and other Frequent Club card tips.

I am attaching a link I got in my email from ACME grocery stores.

One thing I recommend everyone to do is register your club cards online with your local grocery stores.  You get so many "extras" when you sign up

I also got an email yesterday from SuperFresh for a Red Tag Sale - it included GREAT coupons to print out and bring to the store today.  Including 99c lb boneless chicken breast, 89c large cantaloupe, $1.79 Tropicana Orange Juice, $5.99 Eight O'clock Coffee.

Many store sites also have "clip to card" feature where you select your coupons and they put it on your Frequent Shopper card.  That way you don't have to remember to bring your coupons it is already on the card.

That is all I have to share at the moment.  I am on the hunt for lost ancestors.

OK, I did it and Split the blog in Half

Well, I did it today after listening to my Genealogy Gems podcast.  Yes, I am a nerd you don't need to remind me.

For you who have no interest in Family History you will no longer have to be board with my "Research Tips and Updates."  If you want to check it out go ahead and follow me into the land of the lost (relatives that is).  Here is the link for that page http://ancestorgenes.blogspot.com/

I would be very happy to have you join me at that site for a bit of history and family tidbits.

Thanks for reading.

I will follow soon with savings for everyone.

15 minutes a quick call and lots of savings!!!

This thought reminds me of that commercial with that cute green lizard saving us all money with one phone call.

Well, I didn't talk to a green lizard but I might have talked to his cousin.  I got an add in the mail today from AAA motor club.  You could save hundreds! Call for your free AAA member quote right now! was written on the envelope.

I figure why not. I just got a letter from Liberty sayin they raised my home owners insurance to $759 a year.  No reason why, they just raised it.  Well, I am sorry that is not right.  So I am going to have to get rid of them.

I am tired of paying over $2300 a year for car insurance when I don't drive very often or very far so I am going to have to rethink this "Wonderful" rate Progressive is providing me with.

WOW, am I glad I didn't just tear this ad up and throw it away.  That is usually what I do with "junk mail."  I got my quote did a little happy dance and switched.

Progressive $2366 a year - AAA Insurance $1685 a year = $681.00 in savings.

Liberty Mutual $759 a year - AAA Insurance $516 a year = $243.00 in savings.

A TOTAL OF $924.00 SAVED A YEAR.

I challenge you all to rethink your insurance plans.  You never know what kind of savings you can get just by making a quick and simple switch.
